My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore is a 2015 Filipino romantic comedy film directed by Jose Javier Reyes starring Ai-Ai de las Alas and Vic Sotto with Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza.[4] It is an official entry to the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival[5] produced by Octo Arts Films, M-Zet Productions, APT Entertainment, GMA Films, and MEDA Productions. The film follows the love–hate relationship story between Vito Carillo (played by Sotto) and Corazon Talatala (played by delas Alas) and the growing relationship between star-crossed lovers Dondi Talatala (played by Richards) and Anna Carillo (played by Mendoza).
My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore (2015)
Aside from being the first film of the love team of Richards and Mendoza (collectively known as AlDub), My Bebe Love is the reunion film of delas Alas and Sotto after their film Enteng ng Ina Mo, which was also a Metro Manila Film Festival entry in 2011. It is also the first film of delas Alas under MEDA Productions, her own film production. This film was released in the Philippines and was internationally screened in selected cinemas in San Francisco and Los Angeles in the United States, Melbourne and Sydney in Australia, and Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.[6]
This film holds the record for highest opening day gross for all Filipino films with ₱60.4 million.[7] The film went on to gross 385 million pesos.[3] During the awards night of the Metro Manila Film Festival, it won the 3rd Best Picture and the Gatpuno Antonio J. Villegas Cultural Award. Mendoza also won the Best Supporting Actress category of the festival.[8][9]
Dondi (Alden Richards) is a nerd and an obedient nephew to his aunt Cora (Ai-Ai delas Alas) who makes decisions for him. Meanwhile, Anna (Maine Mendoza) is a stubborn and rebellious girl who seeks the attention of her father Vito (Vic Sotto) who is a widower. Dondi and Anna cross path and their different personalities collide. They eventually fall in love with each other and solve their own problems.[10] Vito and Cora are bitter business competitors and because of their rivalry, they disapprove the romantic relationship between Dondi and Anna.[11]
As their rivalry continues, Vito and Cora are caught up in a romance and this time, Dondi and Anna are the ones who disapprove of their relationship. Anna in particular strongly expresses her disagreement with the developing relationship between her father and Cora. She states that her departed mother was more beautiful than Cora. In the end, after they saw Vito and Cora being depressed because of their separation, Dondi and Anna set up a surprise party for their reunion and even inviting Aegis, close friends and business partners of Vito. After Vito and Cora were reunited and all seems well, Dondi and Anna almost kiss but was interrupted by a heart wipe transition leaving up to speculation to the audience if they were able to kiss at all. At the post-credit scene, Lola Nidora (a character in Kalyeserye) appears and urged the audience to wait for a “part two”, presumably of the film.

My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore (2015)
In June 2015, the film was originally titled Rom-comin Mo Ako[12] and Ai-Ai de las Alas and Vic Sotto were the only confirmed actors.[13] In August 2015, Alden Richards signed a contract with APT Entertainment, one of the producers of the film, and was confirmed to be part of the film that was renamed to My Bebe Love.[12] It was later revealed that the full title of the film is My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore.[14] The “bebe” in the title is a Filipino slang word meaning “baby” (term of endearment for a girlfriend or significant other) while #KiligPaMore is a hashtag that means having more of the kilig.
In an interview, Sotto said that they were still in negotiations to include Maine Mendoza, Alden Richards’s love interest in Eat Bulaga!’s Kalyeserye television portion, in the film.[15] Jose Javier Reyes, the director, said that the film exists on its own and the effect on the couple’s television segment must be taken into consideration since Richards and Mendoza are not allowed to meet in person during those times. A few days later, after an Instagram post by Reyes and in an interview with delas Alas, it was confirmed that Mendoza would star and debut in the motion picture as Anna.[16][17] Reyes who co-wrote the script of the film with Bibeth Orteza[2] incorporated some of the story suggestions from the AlDub (Mendoza and Richards’ love team name) fans.[10] Reyes initiated a contest on Twitter where the winners were given free pass and to premiere night of the film.
Shooting started on September 19, 2015[5] and the AlDub couple began to shoot together fifteen days after the shooting.[18][19] The last shooting day was November 30, 2015 at One Esplanade in Pasay.[20] In an interview, Reyes pointed out that shooting My Bebe Love was quite a challenge due to expectations from the fans of Mendoza and Richards as well as making the senior actors Sotto and delas Alas refreshing.[21]
Release[edit]
My Bebe Love was released in the Philippines on December 25, 2015 as an official entry to the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival.[5] Before the film’s release, television host and talent manager Lolit Solis and other entertainment writers predicted that it would be a blockbuster hit due to AlDub’s popularity.[2][22][23][24] A crowded red carpet premiere night of the film was held at SM Megamall Cinema 9 in Mandaluyong on December 21, 2015.[25]
International screenings was confirmed by its director, Jose Javier Reyes.[6] The film was shown in at least ten cities in world including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Melbourne, Sydney, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. There are negotiations to release the film in Singapore. The confirmed screenings at the United Arab Emirates, Australia and at the United States in January 2016.[26][27]

Marketing[edit]
A 30-second teaser trailer for the film was aired on Eat Bulaga! Sa Tamang Panahon event held in Philippine Arena on October 24, 2015.[14] The following week after the event, the couple together with Sotto, delas Alas, and the director of the film had their photo shoot for the film.[28] A full trailer of the film that runs over three minutes was released online on November 20, 2015.[29] On December 9, 2015, a press conference was held to promote the film.[30][31]
Before the film was shown in theaters, the cast participated in the traditional Parade of Stars of the Metro Manila Film Festival where every film entries have their own floats. During the parade, the float of My Bebe Love became the most sought-after float after fans mobbed it.[32][33]
Home media[edit]
In February 2016, My Bebe Love was made available in DVD discs by MCA Music (Universal Music Philippines).[34]
Reception[edit]
Critical response[edit]
My Bebe Love has been criticized for the addition of excessive and tasteless product placements in many scenes. ClicktheCity.com, an online entertainment site, gave the film one and a half stars out of five, stating that “the film strings together its stars’ endorsements and roughly molds them into the shape of a movie, narrative playing second fiddle to the impulse to promote brands.”[35] Film reviewer Oggs Cruz opined that “My Bebe Love is offensive because its ambitions are low.”[36] He added that the love story of Vito and Corazon fares better than Dondi and Anna. He suggested that the film should have at least “stretch the psychology that resulted in the celebrated love team of Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards.”
My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore (2015)
Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) in a positive review praised the chemistry between Mendoza and Richards stating that “Alden and Maine, on the other hand, act like the more mature pair. They temper those kilig moments with more getting-to-know-you scenes that can put their elders’ wham-bham way of dating to shame.”[37] PEP further highlighted improvements in Mendoza’s acting as “she acquits herself well for a newbie in the movies. Maine’s eyes reflect a whole range of emotions: joy, disappointment, shock, irritation, etc.”[37]

Genre: Comedy Director: Byun Sung-hyun Cast: Ji Sung, Kim A-joong, Shin So-yul, Kang Kyeong-joon, Kim Seong-oh, Jeong Soo-yeong Runtime: 1 hr 54 mins Rating: M18 (Sexual References) Released By: Encore Films & Cathay-Keris Films Official Website: Opening Day: 16 May 2013 Synopsis: Here comes the brave, hot sexy idol! Devastated by a recent break-up, Hyun-seung (Ji Sung) can’t get a grip on life. After learning his ex-girlfriend has a wonderful new boyfriend, he struggles with sleep and seethes with jealousy. One night, he receives a mysterious phone call from a stranger. Even with flawless beauty and seemingly perfect boyfriend, Yun-jung (Kim A-joong) feels deprived of real affection. She sets up a plan to get his complete attention by spicing up their relationship with a sexy phone call. But the guy on the other end of the line isn’t her boyfriend! Don’t hesitate. Be frank! Don’t be shy. Play wild! Everything you need to know about R-rated relationships. It doesn’t get hotter than this! Movie Review: Raunch meets rom-com in the Korean crowdpleaser “My Phone Sex Partner”, which in other territories has been given a perhaps sexier English title “Whatcha Wearin”. Like its Hollywood brethren (that includes the many Judd Apatow produced and/or directed movies), it doesn’t so much as tinker with the boy-meets-girl formula as add a layer of naughty – but like the best of its genre, there is something winning about the actors, the characters and the situations the characters find themselves in that ultimately makes the entire package delightfully entertaining. The couple at the heart of this romance is the recently dumped Hyun-seung (Ji Sung) and the attached-but-disenchanted Yun-jung (Kim Ah Joong). Their meet-cute happens over the telephone one evening, when Yun-jung misdials her boyfriend’s number and unwittingly gets into an accidental phone sex session with Hyun-seung. Though, as convention dictates, Hyun-sueng and Yun-jung will start off antagonistic – especially after the latter is left red-faced when she finds out her mistake – it isn’t long before they find themselves bonding through sharing in each other’s romantic quandaries. Is it any wonder where they will end up? Well not really, but what matters is the journey to that inevitable destination of happily-ever-after, one which director Byun Seung-hoo (who also co-wrote the script with Kim Min-soo) makes both funny and touching. Between Hyun-seung and Yun-jung, there is definitely something in their respective circumstances you will identify with – whether the heartbroken Hyun-seung thinking back at how he could have treasured his ex-girlfriend more or the disillusioned Yun-jung who has been stuck in the same relationship for too long with a boyfriend that has grown too complacent. And in the midst of their emotional doldrums, it is the sincerity and spark between the pair that is unmistakable, a union of kindred souls that proves disarmingly endearing. Most significantly, Seung-hoo isn’t afraid to address the obvious physical attraction between his couple, manifested both in the way they openly share intimate information about each other over the phone at the start as well as their subsequent meet-ups. Rather than shy away from the topic of sex, he tackles it head-on, which gives a refreshing and realistic modern-day spin on urban relationships today. But rom-coms are often only as good as the chemistry between the actors, and it is in this respect that the movie truly shines. Both are appealing in their own right – Ji being a surprising combination of emotional and independent; while Kim exuding both sass and femininity in equal measure – and the scenes with them together simply sparkle with verve. There is never a doubt that the two are great for each other, and that assurance not only makes you root for them more but also keeps you waiting with bated breath throughout an extended finale specifically designed to tease. Yet to be fair, Seung-hoo’s dexterity in applying a generic rom-com formula in a less than typical fashion extends beyond the finale. Particularly impressive is how he stitches together one of the first conversations between the pair that evolves seamlessly from an argument they have while Hyun-seung is drunk and despondent along a dark alley to a gentle and intimate exchange with both lying in their respective beds – in particular, the cinematography in this sequence deserves special mention, brilliantly conveying the connection that develops between them. Whereas many rom-coms are good only in parts, this one has great parts that make a satisfyingly engaging whole. And indeed, its achievement is perhaps even more significant as one of the first rom-coms of the Korean film industry to add raunch into the mix. Yet the naughty talk and bare flesh isn’t simply a cheap titillating tactic, but a invigorating spin on a genre that could certainly do with more such breaths of fresh air. It’s no wonder then that the movie has come out of nowhere to emerge one of the biggest box-office hits of Korea last year – now let’s just hope the inevitable copycats don’t ruin the raunch-com too soon.

Lumayo Ka Nga Sa Akin is a 2016 Filipino comedy anthology film based on Bob Ong’s 2011 book of the same name.[1][2] It was directed by Mark Meily, Andoy Ranay and Chris Martinez starring Cristine Reyes, Maricel Soriano, Herbert Bautista, Antoinette Taus, Paolo Ballesteros, Jason Gainza, Candy Pangilinan, Benjie Paras and Shy Carlos. It was released on January 13, 2016.
The film parodies mainstream Filipino movies and television shows, as well as popular culture, while tackling several national issues at the same time.
Bala Sa Bala, Kamao Sa Kamao, Satsat Sa Satsat[edit]
The first film in the trilogy centers around Diego, an action star who wants to take revenge against a group of bad guys, also known as “Bandidos” (bandits), after they killed his parents, his wife, Ashley, and everyone who attended their wedding, just a few moments right after they get married at the beginning of the film. As the story unfolds, Diego, being an action star, gets into misadventures and finds himself in trouble-after-trouble. Unfortunately, Divina Tuazon, a famous actress and Diego’s new found leading lady, was kidnapped by the Bandidos. Finally, in an abandoned warehouse (a setting where most of Pinoy action films’ final scenes takes place), Diego tries to save Divina from the evil hands of Bandido’s merciless and heartless leader named “Bos”.
The plot generally follows themes from classic Filipino action movies, as well as comedy films from early 80’s to 90’s. For example, Diego’s sidekicks, Dodoy and Momoy uses slapstick from time to time, a type of comedy which was very popular in the country for the past decades.
Shake, Shaker, Shakest[edit]
A middle-cass family was forced to enter and stay in a white haunted house for several days after being stranded in an unfamiliar place. The title is play on the Shake, Rattle & Roll film series and the plot is a ludicrous horror film.
Asawa ni Marie[edit]
A rags-to-riches story about Marie, a poor girl who has a confusing status in life and love. The plot is similar to Philippine dramas/ soap operas, particularly Marimar.

Reception[edit]

Critical Reception[edit]

Everything About Her received generally positive reviews from film critics , praising the three main actors' performances.

Oggs Cruz from Rappler gave a positive review saying "Everything About Her is predictable, which isn’t necessary a problem. There is also something inherently wrong about the message of women being forced to choose between motherhood and their careers, but that message is but part and parcel of the studio’s family-friendly and escapist agendas."[6]

Rod Magaru Show , a blogger gave a rating of 9/10 saying that "The film’s attempt to bring out the tears in audience eyes succeeded in multiple scenes. If you have to ask me, I will never ever let my mom feel like I am near yet so far. But of course we live in different background. From professional writers’ perspective, there’s a story behind everything. How a picture got on a wall. How a scar got on your face

Bala Sa Bala, Kamao Sa Kamao, Satsat Sa Satsat[edit]

The first film in the trilogy centers around Diego, an action star who wants to take revenge against a group of bad guys, also known as "Bandidos" (bandits), after they killed his parents, his wife, Ashley, and everyone who attended their wedding, just a few moments right after they get married at the beginning of the film. As the story unfolds, Diego, being an action star, gets into misadventures and finds himself in trouble-after-trouble. Unfortunately, Divina Tuazon, a famous actress and Diego's new found leading lady, was kidnapped by the Bandidos. Finally, in an abandoned warehouse (a setting where most of Pinoy action films' final scenes takes place), Diego tries to save Divina from the evil hands of Bandido's merciless and heartless leader named "Bos".

The plot generally follows themes from classic Filipino action movies, as well as comedy films from early 80's to 90's. For example, Diego's sidekicks, Dodoy and Momoy uses slapstick from time to time, a type of comedy which was very popular in the country for the past decades.

Heneral Luna (lit. General Luna) is a 2015 Filipino historical biopic film depicting General Antonio Luna's leadership of the Philippine Revolutionary Army during the Philippine-American War. It opens with the beginning of hostilities with the American colonizers, and ends with the assassination of Luna on June 5, 1899 - a period in which Luna served as Supreme Chief of the Army under the First Philippine Republic.
Directed by Jerrold Tarog and produced by Artikulo Uno Productions, the film received critical acclaim from critics and audiences alike, praising its cinematography, writing, acting and plot. The film was selected as the Philippine entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 88th Academy Awards but it was not nominated.[4]
With a production budget of 80 million pesos,[5][6] it is one of the most expensive Filipino epic historical films ever released. On September 29, 2015, it broke previous record of 160 million to become the highest grossing Filipino historical film of all time.[7][8] Despite a 50% discount offered student viewers,[9] by the beginning of its fourth week the film was well on its way to reaching the 200 million gross ticket sales.[10] On October 11, it was officially announced that the film had reached its ₱240M break even point

President Emilio Aguinaldo (Mon Confiado) together with his Prime Minister Apolinario Mabini (Epi Quizon) and the whole presidential cabinet are debating the issue of the American presence in the Philippines. Felipe Buencamino (Nonie Buencamino) and Pedro Paterno (Leo Martinez) support a trade with Americans while General Antonio Luna (John Arcilla) and General José Alejandrino (Alvin Anson) wants to wage war to gain independence for the Philippines. Luna asks the cabinet to authorize a pre-emptive strike while the Americans have yet to land their ground troops. Aguinaldo however assured his cabinet that the Americans had promised to help win freedom from their Spanish overlords. Unfortunately, the Americans have invaded key cities in Manila, indicating a possible war against the Filipinos.
Luna and his trusted comrades – General José Alejandrino, Colonel Francisco “Paco” Román (Joem Bascon), Captain Eduardo Rusca (Archie Alemania), Captain José Bernal (Alex Medina) and Major Manuel Bernal (Art Acuña) – embark on an arduous campaign against the invading American forces. During an intense battle against American troops led by General Arthur MacArthur Jr. (Miguel Faustmann) and General Elwell Otis (E.A. Rocha), Luna asks for reinforcements from the Kawit Battalion but its commander, Captain Pedro Janolino (Ketchup Eusebio), refuses to comply because the order did not come from President Aguinaldo himself. Luna angrily rides to Janolino's camp, humiliates him in front his men, and dismisses the battalion for insubordination. Luna then assembles an army of 4,000 soldiers by declaring his infamous "Article One", stating that all who refuse to follow his orders shall be executed without the benefit of a trial in a military court. He also recruits Lieutenant García (Ronnie Lazaro) after seeing his marksmanship skills, and makes him commander of his elite unit of sharpshooters.
As the war drags on, Buencamino and Paterno indicate their support of a proposal by the Americans for Philippine autonomy. Enraged by this, Luna orders their arrest. Luna’s campaign is undermined by General Tomás Mascardo (Lorenz Martinez), who opposes Luna's order for reinforcements, stating that he will only follow the President's direct orders. While the two generals are about to clash in Pampanga, the Americans advance steadily as other Filipino generals like Gregorio del Pilar (Paulo Avelino) retreat to the north. Luna visits Aguinaldo and Mabini to file his resignation, knowing that Buencamino and Paterno had been set free. Aguinaldo refuses to accept his resignation, but agrees to let Luna establish a headquarters for the Philippine Army in the north.
Later, Luna is summoned by a telegram to the President’s headquarters in Cabanatuan. Although his officers are suspicious, Luna rides to Cabanatuan, bringing only Román and Rusca with him. Most of the soldiers had already left headquarters under Aguinaldo's orders, with the exception of some elements of the Kawit Battalion. Luna discovers upon arrival that Aguinaldo had already left and only Buencamino remains in the office. As they exchange heated words, a single shot is fired outside. Luna investigates and encounters Captain Janolino and his men, who attack him. Luna is shot, stabbed, and hacked repeatedly to death. Román is also killed while a wounded Rusca surrenders to the Kawit soldiers. Most of Luna's remaining loyal officers are arrested, while some are killed, including the Bernal brothers.
As ordered by Aguinaldo, Luna and Román are buried with full military honors by the Kawit Battalion - the same men who killed them. Mabini, who is among the mourners, notices a bloodied Bolo of one of the soldiers; however, the Kawit Battalion would be exonerated thereafter.
While American newspapers quickly blame Aguinaldo for the death of Luna, after the war an aged Aguinaldo denies his involvement on the assassination; he acknowledges Antonio Luna as his most brilliant and most capable general. MacArthur and Otis acknowledge Luna as a worthy adversary, laughing at the fact that the Filipinos killed the only real general they had.
In the mid-credits scene, General Gregorio del Pilar makes ready to cover Aguinaldo's retreat to the north. He gathers Luna's remaining men and orders his aide to select 60 of them.
